Turn Screen Time Into Curiosity & Creation
At ages 5 to 7, children have natural curiosity and creative energy. Our private 1-on-1 mentorship uses visual, snap-together coding blocks (ScratchJr & playful logic) to teach algorithmic thinking before kids even type full words.
How Early Learners Code at STEMulus
We don't teach abstract syntax. We build stories, animated adventures, and simple games using visual iconography.
Sequential Reasoning
Kids learn that computers follow step-by-step instructions. They arrange visual action blocks in order to make characters walk, jump, talk, and dance.
Loops & Repetition
Instead of giving the same command ten times, students learn to wrap instructions in a loop - discovering the elegance of efficiency and patterns.
Creative Agency
Your child records their own voice, paints custom characters, and builds interactive animated storybooks to share with grandparents and friends.
What Your Child Will Build
Real creations they can proudly show the whole family.
Space Rocket Journey
A multi-scene animation where a rocket counts down, blasts off into stars, and meets friendly alien characters.
The Musical Farm
An interactive animal orchestra where clicking different animals triggers custom instruments, loops, and animated sounds.
Catch the Falling Fruit
A first playable video game where moving a basket left and right catches apples using key triggers or mouse tracking.
Questions Parents Ask About Ages 5-7
Does my child need to know how to read fluently?
No. We utilize ScratchJr and custom visual icon tools where commands are represented by intuitive visual symbols (arrows, speech bubbles, sound icons, loops). As their confidence grows, early sight words are introduced naturally.
Can a 5 or 6-year-old stay focused for 60 minutes?
Yes, because sessions are 100% interactive and mentor-driven. Rather than a lecture, the lesson is structured as a series of 10-minute micro-adventures with storytelling, character drawing, and mini-breaks. Mentors adjust pace immediately if energy shifts.
Can parents sit next to the child during lessons?
We actively welcome it, especially during the free discovery session! You can see firsthand how your child interacts with the mentor and how proud they feel when their first project comes to life.
